What are your hours of operation?

Smarter Childcare is open Monday- Friday from 6am-6pm.
Is this daycare licesed by IL DCFS?

Yes Smarter Childcare is licensed by the IL Department of Children and Family Services.
Does Smarter Childcare have any accreditations?

Yes! Smarter Childcare has a silver star rated with Excel-rate IL. Excel-rate IL is a statewide quality rating and improvement system for early childcare providers. Smarter Childcare is also accredited by NAFCC (National Association of Family Child Care).
How do I pay for child care?

Smarter Childcare accepts all forms of payments as well as subsidy payments from DCFS and Illinois Action for children (CCI).

What safe measures are in place to ensure the safety of the children and staff?

All parents, students and staff are required to wear a mask if they are age 2 and over. A hand sanitzer and a temperature screening is required upon entering the facility. All staff are CPR and first aid certified. Smarter Childcare will follow all CDC and IL Dcfs health guidelines.
What should I bring to register my child?

To register a child you will need photo identifaction, the child's birth certificate and the IDHS physical and vaccination record.
